
The family of Aaron Lee Cizek (9/13/84 - 7/24/22) is hosting a Celebration-of-Life Open House in his honor on Saturday October 1 from 3:00 to 7:00 at the NPPD Lake Maloney Cabin. Cabin location is south of the lake outlet, behind the Lincoln County Gun Club trap range. Friends and acquaintances are encouraged to attend and share stories, experiences and condolences with family and other attendees. Aaron was a fun loving free spirit, with a big smile and infectious “cackle” who worked and played hard, always ready for an adventure. Come share the good memories and help us ease the pain of losing someone truly special.
Food and refreshments provided but BYOB.
Aaron Lee Cizek was born September 13 1984 in North Platte, NE and died July 24, 2022 at Grants Pass, OR while enjoying one of his favorite things, a leisurely motorcycle ride, on a backroad through the countryside.
Aaron, grew up in the Indian Hills neighborhood of North Platte, where he attended Osgood Elementary, Adams Middle School and graduated North Platte High in the class of 2003. He then attended Bellevue University in Omaha for a couple of years where he played soccer and continued with his creative talents in art and ceramics.
He then spent several years in Lincoln “finding” himself, before enrolling in Southeast Tech at Beatrice where he completed an Associate degree in Agribusiness/Horticulture in 2010. In 2013, he moved to northern California, working various horticultural related jobs, honing his many skills and talents. In 2016, he met his life partner Chyna Kastens, and they settled in Grants Pass, OR where he established Black Goose Farm, growing CBD hemp, and garden produce.
Aaron was a fun loving free spirit, with a big smile and infectious “cackle”. He worked hard, always ready to lend a hand to his many friends and played hard always ready for an adventure. Always chasing his dreams.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Lumir and Evelyn Cizek of Spencer, Leo and Mabel Mulhair of Lynch a brother, Craig Cizek, an uncle, Terry Cizek and an aunt, Elaine Mulhair / Cizek / Rossmeier.
Leaving to mourn his passing, is Chyna, and his bestie beasties Brussel, Elsa, and Nova of Grants Pass; his parents John and Sharon Cizek of Sutherland NE; brother Andrew (Davina) Cizek and nephews and nieces Asher, Spencer, Jaxon, Ariana, Simon, Josiah, Eli, Emmett, Emeline, Seth, Caleb and Cailin Cizek all of Pagosa Springs, CO.; uncles Ron Cizek and Gordon Rossmeier of Spencer NE, and Allen (Ikie) Mulhair of O’Neill, NE; and aunt Kathleen Cizek of O’Neill NE.
