Lincoln County Sheriff's Office: On September 20th, 2025 at 08:56 AM, Lincoln County Deputies were dispatched to 17504 South Highway 83 on report of a car versus semi crash. Deputies found a south bound car struck a semi tractor/Propane tanker trailer as it pulled out of the Sundoco Pipeline towards the north. There was heavy fog in the area at the time of the accident with Deputies reporting near zero visibility. The driver of the car was identified as 55 year old Timothy Young of Moorefield Nebraska. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the semi tractor trailer was not injured in the crash. A Lincoln County Sheriff's Office Accident Reconstructionist was contacted and will complete the investigation and mapping of the scene. Our sincerest condolences to Mr. Young's family.&nbsp;&nbsp;
