Georgia Mae (Musser) Trout, 94, of North Platte, NE passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022 in North Platte, NE.  She was the last of six children born to Samuel and Minnie (Bassett) Musser on March 20, 1927 in Hyannis, NE.  She grew up in the sandhills and along the banks of the Dismal River.  Her family’s ranch still stands today.
In 1946, Georgia married Robert Trout in California.  During the next 12 years they would make their home throughout the United States while Robert worked construction.  They would welcome two children while in California: Wanda and Stan.  They eventually moved back to Georgia’s home state of Nebraska in 1958 and settled in their home in North Platte.  It was here that they welcomed the last of their three children, LaDonna.

Left to mourn her passing are her daughters, Wanda (Charles) Nichols and LaDonna (Richard) Fetzer both of North Platte, along with 9 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 17 great-great grandchildren, her sister, Doris (Musser) Griffith of Mullen along with several nieces and nephews.

She was welcomed in Heaven by her parents Sam and Minnie, her 2 brothers and 2 of her sisters, her husband Robert, her son Stan, grandson Samuel Joseph Trout, great-grandson Jacob Robert Schimek along with several other family and friends.

A private graveside service is planned for Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens for the immediate family.  Those wishing to visit Georgia may do so from 1-8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1st at Carpenter Memorial Chapel, which is entrusted with the arrangements.  Online condolences and sharing of memories may be expressed to the family at www.carpentermemorial.com
