ALDA, Neb.-A Wood River man was killed after his vehicle was struck by another vehicle.
On Wednesday at 3:16 pm, deputies responded to a two-vehicle injury accident just South of Guenther Rd on Alda Rd, South of Alda.
The Hall County Sheriff's Office says Alexander Schneberger of Wood River was in the South bound lanes experiencing vehicle problems in a 1989 Ford Ranger pick-up when Toby Clayton of Holdrege who was also South bound came upon the vehicle as he came over a curved hill and struck the Ranger in the road, causing it to roll into the West ditch.
Schneberger was transported by ambulance to St Francis where he was later pronounced dead.
