The North Platte Police Department participated in the U.S. Department of Transportation’s National Highway Safety Administration&nbsp;“Buckle&nbsp;Up Every Trip Every Time” traffic enforcement&nbsp;mobilization&nbsp;from November 17th&nbsp;through November 23rd.&nbsp; Department wide, sixty-two traffic contacts were made.&nbsp; Sixteen citations were issued.&nbsp; Eleven citations were issued for speeding.&nbsp; Three citations were issued for Driving Under Suspension.&nbsp; One arrest was made for a felony firearm offense.&nbsp; Two arrests were made for Burglary.&nbsp;

A pre-enforcement survey was conducted showing a 58% seatbelt compliance rate.

A Post-enforcement survey was conducted showing a 75% seatbelt compliance rate.&nbsp;
