NORTH PLATTE, Neb.-If you're a regular at the B St. Runza location in North Platte, you'll still be able to get your Runza and Frings, you will just have to go south a few blocks soon.

Runza restaurants announced that the location will be closed and moved to the corner of E and Jeffers in a few months with a new building. The site formerly served as a car dealership, and buildings on the lot will be demolished in the next few months.

Runza franchisee Josh Catlett will own the new location. The Catlett family also owns Runza locations in Holdrege and McCook.

"North Platte is a thriving community, and we are pleased to reinvest and grow," said Catlett.

Not only will the restaurant's location be new, but it will also feature a new look and layout.

"Runza has been a part of the North Platte landscape since 1988," said Donald Everett, Jr, President of Runza National. "We are excited to bring our updated look and new store layout to the area."

The new location is expected to open in late Spring of 2023.

Runza operates and franchises 88 restaurants in Nebraska, Colorado, Iowa, and Kansas.
