
Brandan Scott Freeman, 21, of North Platte, passed away, September 6, 2021 in North Platte. He was born March 21, 2000 to Stephen Johnston and Deanna Freeman in North Platte.
Brandan graduated from Stapleton High School, Stapleton, Nebraska with the class of 2019. He worked at McDonald’s and other various jobs. He helped with farming at various times and really enjoyed this work. Brandan was very protective of his family, enjoyed being with his friends and was always the first to help someone out.
Survivors include his parents; father, Stephen Johnston, North Platte, mother; Deanna (Jeremy) Storm, North Platte, daughter; Hope Marie, Kearney, Nebraska and a child due in February 2022, siblings; Rebecca Freeman and Donavan Freeman, Maxwell, Nebraska, Ashley (Andrew) Cowley, North Platte, Nebraska, Trever Johnston, North Platte, Blake Jackson, North Platte; nieces and nephews, Trinity, Natalie, Braxton, Maxon; grandparents, Stan and Charlene Freeman, North Platte, Carolyn Koch, North Platte, Tom (Pat) Johnston, Aurora, Colorado, Art Storm, Stapleton, Nebraska, Diane (Mike Normaden) Storm, North Platte; along with numerous other family members and many friends.
A memorial has been established in his name.
Celebration of Life will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 12, 2021 at the Cody Park Gazebo, North Platte, with Pastor Scott Mustion officiating. Visitation with be noon – 7:00 p.m., Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Adams and Swanson Funeral Home. Adams and Swanson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
