Lee Roy Campbell, much loved Son, Brother, and Uncle, passed away Monday, December 28, 2020 in Ardmore, Oklahoma at the age of 67.
Lee was born August 5, 1953 in Denver, Colorado to Wayne and Ruth (Krovis) Campbell and grew up in Gothenburg, Nebraska with his brother and two sisters. After Graduating from Gothenburg High School, Lee served honorably in the United States Navy from 1972-1975 and attended college in Kearney, Nebraska following his service in the military. Lee was an avid fisherman, history buff, and a voracious reader.
Lee was preceded in death by his father Wayne E. Campbell, his mother Ruth L. Nutter, his brother Jack Campbell, and his sister Peggy Craig.
He is survived by his sister, Geraldine N. Payne; many nieces, nephews and others.
Visitation will be held at 10:00 am-12:00 pm, Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, Gothenburg, NE.
Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, January 7, 2021 at the Grandview Cemetery east of Gothenburg, NE.
Burial will take place in the Grandview Cemetery east of Gothenburg, NE.
Memorials may be given to the Grandview Cemetery.
