North Platte, Neb. — Investigators with the Nebraska State Patrol have conducted alcohol compliance checks in Lincoln County.
During the evening hours of Saturday, June 27, investigators conducted compliance checks at businesses in Lincoln County. In total, 12 businesses were inspected. Two of those businesses sold alcohol to a minor for a compliance rate of 83%. One business did not check the minor’s ID.
The businesses included convenience stores, grocery stores, events, bars, and liquor stores. Businesses that sell alcohol to minors are referred to the Nebraska Liquor Control Commission. Clerks who sell alcohol to a minor are cited for procuring alcohol for a minor.
