The North Platte Police Department would like to remind the community that the seasonal parking ordinance goes into effect on November 1, 2025.
From November through March, it is unlawful to park or leave standing any boat, boat trailer, pontoon, or pontoon trailer on city streets — except while actively loading or unloading and only for the time necessary to do so.
This ordinance helps ensure streets remain clear and safe during the winter months for snow removal and emergency vehicle access.
