Mid-Plains Community College to Host Four Job Fairs This Fall

NORTH PLATTE, Neb. — Mid-Plains Community College will host a series of job fairs this fall, giving job seekers opportunities to connect with local employers and explore available positions in a variety of industries.

All four events are free and open to the public, with job fairs planned in McCook and North Platte throughout the fall.

The first event, the McCook Fall Job Fair, is scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 26, from 10 a.m. to noon in front of the VonRiesen Library at McCook Community College, 1205 E. Third St.

The North Platte Fall Job Fair will follow on Wednesday, Sept. 9, from 10 a.m. to noon at the South Campus Pavilion at North Platte Community College, 601 W. State Farm Road.

MPCC will also host a Health Occupations Fair on Monday, Oct. 19, from 10 a.m. to noon in the South Campus Gym at North Platte Community College. The event will provide an opportunity for those interested in healthcare careers to meet with employers and learn more about available opportunities in the field.

The final event will be the Applied Technology Job Fair, scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 4, from 10 a.m. to noon in Rooms 105, 107 and 109 of the W.W. Wood Building on North Campus, 1101 Halligan Drive in North Platte.

According to MPCC, the job fairs are designed to connect job seekers with local employers and highlight current openings across a range of industries, including healthcare and applied technologies.
