Vince passed away unexpectedly on April 15m 2023 in Brownsville, Texas. He was 76.
Vince was born December 4, 1946, to Fernando and Mary (Briseno) Ornelas. He loved life, his friends, doing DIY projects, being a handyman, giving advice (wanted or not), a good joke (the dirtier the better), Mexican food, especially tacos, nachos, and Dos Equis, and having coffee with his friends. My dad had the best laugh!!
Vince was preceded in death by his son, Vincent "Bunch" Ornelas, Jr. his mother and father, and his sister, Juantia.
Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Monica (Garry Dodge) Hunt, his granddaughters: Abby, Jessy, Molly, and Afia Hunt, his great grand-children: Kaiden, Teddy, Lee, and Elliana, and niece: Tricia Barajas, his sister: Bessie and her children, his beloved dog, Cinco and Alta.
A celebration of life will be held on May 20, 2023, at the American Legion Hall, 2020 East 4th Street, North Platte, NE at 2pm.
