NORTH PLATTE, Neb.-The West Central District Health Department reported another increase in confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday.

WCDHD officials say 29 tests were returned as positive for the virus, saying all of the new cases are in Lincoln County.

There are now 560 active cases reported in the WCDHD jurisdiction with 21 people currently hospitalized. Since March, there have been 1,102 confirmed cases of the virus with 11 deaths determined to be COVID-related.
