SUTHERLAND, Neb.-Mark your calendars for the Sutherland Chamber of Commerce Community Breakfast on July 12 at the American Legion Post #208 - Sutherland! The host for July is the Sutherland Scarlets Dance Team.
The Sutherland Scarlets Dance Team is partnering with the Sutherland Chamber of Commerce to host the monthly community breakfast to raise money to help cover team expenses. Please come out and support this important organization that provides cheer and spirit for our school.
The changes implemented in June will continue in July. The food will be served cafeteria style, not self-service buffet style. All of our volunteers will be masked and gloved for your safety. The tables will be separated so that no more than six people can sit together as a group, and will be placed six feet apart. All tables will be sanitized between seatings.
Sutherland’s Community Breakfasts are every second Sunday from 9:00am to 12:30pm at the Legion Community Hall, 130 S. Maple St. Suggested donation is a minimum of $6 for adults and children 6 and above. Children 5 and under eat free. Patrons are encouraged to give generously.
Always sponsored by the Sutherland Chamber of Commerce, each month has a different host, which keeps all of the profits after the expenses are paid. Interested organizations can contact Muriel Clark at [email protected]
