
Jennifer Marie Jackson unexpectedly passed away at her home in North
Platte on June 6, 2023, at age 46.
Jennifer was born May 7, 1977, to Gene and Brenda Mora in North Platte,
where she grew up. After graduating from North Platte High School in
1995, Jennifer went to work for NebraskaLand National Bank for several
years. She later worked in hospitality and retail until her health
declined and she could no longer work.
On March 18, 2005, Jennifer married Leonard Jackson in Oshkosh and they lived in North Platte. Jennifer had a great interest in storm and
tornado chasing so she studied Meteorology through Mid-Plains Community College and online. She loved cats and her boys and loved taking the boys to the lake.
She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Dan Lindsay; and
grandfather, Willard Ruhaak.
She is survived by her mother, Brenda Lindsay of North Platte; sons,
Hunter and Ethan Jackson of North Platte; step brother, Cameron (Kacy)
Lindsay of North Platte; half sister, Heather Huerta of Phoenix; her
grandmother, Beverly Ruhaak of Cheyenne, WY; aunts, Pam (Reuben) Moyte of Cheyenne, Karla Oliver of Sheridan, WY, and Gloria Ruhaak of Lake Stevens, WA; and other family.
Services will be 3 p.m. on Monday, June 12, 2023, at New Life Church.
Cremation was chosen. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been
established for Hunter and Ethan at NebraskaLand National Bank. Online condolences may be shared at odeanchapel.com. Odean Colonial Chapel at C & Sycamore is in charge of arrangements.
