Paula Lynne Stinson (1951-2021)

Paula Lynne Stinson was born July 30, 1951, in Denver, Colorado, to Chester P. Jr and Kathleen Louise (Johnston) Dennhardt . Kathleen later married Welby H. Collins of Imperial, Nebraska, where Paula grew up and attended school. She graduated from Chase County High School in 1969.

On July 19, 1991, Paula married Robert Stinson at the United Methodist Church in Imperial and the couple settled in Palisade, Nebraska. Paula was employed as a medical secretary at the Imperial Medical Clinic and the Trenton Medical Clinic. She also worked at the Sew Blessed Quilt Shop in McCook, Nebraska.

Paula enjoyed yardwork, planting flowers, taking care of her horses, collecting antiques, and she loved her cats. Paula especially loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Paula passed away Friday, February 26, 2021, at the Chase County Hospital of Imperial. She was 69 years of age.

Paula was preceded in death by her mother Kathleen Collins and step- father Welby Collins, step-daughter Gina Stinson, brother-in-law Don Jones and half-brother Frederick Dennhardt.

Survivors Include her husband, Robert Stinson of rural Palisade, Nebraska; daughter, Renee Grayson (Bryan) of Oceanside, California; step-daughter, Lisa Stinson of Colorado Springs, Coloroado; step-son, Blaine Stinson (Tessa) of Palisade, Nebraska; 6 grandchildren: Rylan Grayson, Katelyn Coman, Jacob Melton, Kyle Melton, Jamie Melton, and Anna Marie Stinson; 1 great-grandchild, Aiden Coman; a sister, Karen Jones of Lincoln, California; and half-sister, Frances Joan Wilkey (David) of Saluda, South Carolina.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday morning, March 4, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. (Mountain Time) at Liewer Funeral Home, Imperial, Nebraska, with Pastor Matt Maxwell officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery, Imperial, Nebraska.

Visitation will be held Wednesday afternoon, March 3, 2021, 2:00 P.M. -6:00 P.M. (Mountain Time) at Liewer Funeral Home in Imperial, NE.

In Lieu of Flowers a memorial has been suggested to the McCook Humane Society, 100 South Street, McCook, NE 69001
