NORTH PLATTE, Neb. — The Nebraska Department of Transportation will hold a public information open house regarding proposed improvements to northbound U.S. Highway 83/South Dewey Street in North Platte.
The meeting is set for Tuesday, Sept. 9, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Harvest Christian Fellowship Hall. DOT officials will present traffic study alternatives for Leota Street designed to improve traffic flow, as well as details of the highway improvements, which are similar to work completed on southbound U.S. 83/South Jeffers Street.
The open house is intended to give local residents a chance to review plans, ask questions, and provide feedback on the project before construction begins.
