David Wayne Seevers, 57, of Lincoln, passed away on April 18, 2023, in Waverly. David was born on March 7, 1966, to Roland and Wanda (Clang) Seevers in North Platte. He graduated with the class of 1985. He worked construction with Simon Contractors, Dustrol Construction and J-Ton Construction in Lincoln.
He married Marcie Sharton in Lincoln. Two daughters were born: Jaden and Peyton Seevers. David was a hard-working, honest, loving, giving and happy person. He enjoyed camping, fishing and cooking. He especially loved his big family. He was an active member of the Great Plains Community Church in Lincoln.
David was preceded in death by his mother, Wanda Seevers; and his brothers, Richard Klatt and Douglas Seevers.
He is survived by his wife, Marcie Sharton; daughters, Jaden and Peyton Seevers, both of Lincoln; his father, Roland Seevers and his wife, Doris, of Grand Island; his sisters, Kathy (Ron) Johnson of North Platte and Ronda Warner of Gillette, Wyoming; his brother, William Klatt of North Platte; an unborn grandson; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
A celebration of life will be at a later date in Lincoln.
