"Serving as our local hospital CEO through this unprecedented pandemic has taught me many things about Lincoln County,” McNea said. “Our community works together, we do what’s best for our families, and we find solutions to the challenges we face. I’m running for the Nebraska Legislature to bring conservative leadership and vision to the challenges we face in Western Nebraska.”

McNea is no stranger to leadership.

He was recognized as “CEO of the Year” by the North Platte Chamber and Development Corporation as well as being distinguished with the prestigious Nebraska Hospital Association’s Excellence in Service Award. Under McNea’s leadership, Great Plains Health was even named one of 19 Top Rural Hospitals in the nation by the national quality evaluation group The Leapfrog Group in both 2019 and 2020.

“Now more than ever, our community and our state need leaders who will offer conservative vision and leadership to the challenges we face. As our state senator, I will stand up for our conservative principles and find solutions on day one.”McNea said

If elected, his top priorities would be fixing our broken property tax system, growing our state and local economy, defending the Second Amendment, advocating for the life of the unborn, and ensuring access to quality health care.

“I will also stand up to the radicalized efforts to defund our police and inject political ideology into our schools. Our community and our families deserve better. I will always defend our rural values and way of life,” said McNea

McNea and his wife, Michelle, have three children— Alex, Molly, and Brett, who graduated from North Platte High School, and reside with their families in Nebraska.
