John was born November 7, 1950, at Carlsbad, NM, to James and Norma Jean (Eggleston) Willis. John honorably served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, receiving several commendations and was awarded the Purple Heart. John is survived by his wife, Elaine of Grant.
