The North Platte Community College music department will have its end-of-year concert April 28. It will begin at 7 p.m. in the McDonald-Belton Theater on the NPCC South Campus, 601 W. State Farm Rd., in North Platte.

The spring themed concert will feature performances by the Jazzy Knights, Knightingales and Knightly Singers. Piano Tech students will provide preshow entertainment.

Additionally, three awards will be presented: Outstanding Musician, Outstanding Instrumentalist and Musician of the Year.

The concert will wrap up with a 60th&nbsp;Anniversary celebration performance of a “Next to Normal” selection featuring current and past MPCC students.

The concert is free and open to the public. There will be a reception afterward in the fireplace area of the McDonald-Belton Building.
