
Audrey Mae Clouse, 86, of North Platte, passed away April 25, 2022, at North Platte Care Center, in North Platte, Nebraska. She was born April 10, 1936, to Walt and Leota (Miller) Anthony in North Platte along with siblings Neal Anthony (Dixie), Marilyn Ruiz (Sotero), Jim Anthony (Carolyn), Otis Anthony (Carolyn), Jack Anthony, Elaine Spanjer (Leland), and Dorla Keup (Ivan).
Audrey was united in marriage to Jack Clouse and to this union five children were born, Stanley Clouse of Kearney, RaeAnn (Bob) Lorence of Lincoln, Dana Glaze of Omaha, Randy (Kim) Clouse of Baytown, Texas, and Jason Clouse of North Platte. In addition to her children, survivors include grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walt and Leota Anthony, in-laws Jim and Marion Clouse, her husband Jack Clouse, daughter-in-law Leeann Clouse, grandson Jeremiah Clouse, her brothers Neal, Otis, and Jack and her sisters Marilyn and Dorla.
Audrey loved gardening, canning, camping, cooking, bingo, craft activities, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She worked as a cook at the Brady Public Schools for twenty years while raising her children and following their activities. She was a Jehovah’s Witness affiliated with the North Platte congregation and enjoyed witnessing about God’s promises as well as going to conventions, quick builds of Kingdom Halls, and associating with her brothers and sisters in her faith.
