North Platte, Neb - The North Platte Community Playhouse is getting into the holiday spirit with its upcoming production of Elf the Musical, a family-friendly show guaranteed to make audiences smile, sing, and maybe even believe in Santa again.
Performances are set for November 14, 15, and 16, and again November 21, 22, and 23 at the historic Fox Theatre. Friday and Saturday shows begin at 7:30 p.m., with Sunday matinees at 2 p.m.
Tickets go on sale Monday, November 10.

Based on the beloved holiday film, Elf the Musical follows Buddy the Elf on a hilarious and heartwarming quest to discover his true identity after learning he’s actually human. The story combines comedy, catchy songs, and a healthy dose of Christmas spirit—because, as Buddy reminds everyone, “the best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear.”
The Playhouse says this modern-day holiday classic is perfect for all ages and promises plenty of laughter, music, and maybe even a few candy canes along the way.
