NORTH PLATTE, Neb. — A pair of young animal lovers will be serving up homemade lemonade and cookies this week while raising money for a local nonprofit dedicated to helping homeless pets.
Starly and Stryker will host Starly & Stryker's Lemonade Stand FUR Paws on Friday, July 24, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the FUR Animal Rescue FURcility, located at 220 East B Street in North Platte.
The community is invited to stop by for a refreshing glass of homemade lemonade and fresh-baked cookies. Half of all proceeds from the fundraiser will be donated to FUR Animal Rescue to support its ongoing efforts to rescue, care for and rehome animals in need.
Those who are unable to attend but would still like to contribute can make a donation through Venmo at @FURAnimalRescue, PayPal at PayPal.me/furtheloveofpaws, or by debit or credit card using the fundraiser's online payment link.
Organizers encourage the public to stop by, enjoy a sweet treat and help make a difference for local animals.
