The North Platte Noon Rotary put the idea of service above self into practice when several members of there club gathered at the Westfield Shopping Center to fill (then deliver and empty) a trailer full of food for various food banks in our community.
This day was the culmination of efforts by club member Kendi McClain and her committee to raise funds through grants, matching funds and partnerships with Gary's Superfoods to provide $6,000 worth of food to community food banks.
