She was an active member of several organizations throughout her life including Extension club, AAUW, Guard auxiliary, UMW, Royal Neighbors, Ogallala Booster Club, and Moose Lodge. In her retirement, she enjoyed volunteering at the Kenfield gallery. She was a wonderful cook and was often found baking or making food for others. She also enjoyed gardening (especially her roses), going to high school sports, and spending time with her grandkids.
