NORTH PLATTE, Neb.-The Keith and Lincoln County Libertarian Party of Nebraska will be hosting an informational meeting in North Platte this Sunday.
The meeting will be held at Pals Brewing Company, 4520 S. Buffalo Bill Ave., and will begin at 11:30 a.m.
Rachael Nelson, one of the organizers, says the goal will be knowledge.
"We are trying to bring knowledge to the area about the Libertarian Party," said Nelson.
Libertarian candidate for Nebraska Governor Scott Zimmerman will be the special guest.
The mission of the Libertarian Party is to maintain a representative government that protects the inalienable rights of individuals, according to the Party's website.
