News release
NebraskaLand Bank employees installed a Little Free Library at the North Platte Area Children’s Museum at 314 N. Jeffers on Wednesday.
The team — consisting of Aleyse Schroder, Carmen Willard, Evonne Keck, Jessica Moorhead, Jim Smith, Kelsey Dailey, Nancy Durr, Susan Brunett and Terry Matthews — used upcycled materials to build the library with care and love. It is their hope that it will become a permanent fixture at the museum. The library will offer books of varying reading levels, allowing families to read together and enjoy the world of literature.
This innovative library makes browsing and exchanging books easy, with 24/7 availability on the honor system. If you take a book, you're encouraged to leave a book for the next person to enjoy.
