Betty 'Pat' Harper, of Hershey, NE, passed way at Hilltop Estates in
Gothenburg on March 31, 2022, at the age of 84.
Betty was born to Kathleen and McKinley White, Sr. on September 6, 1937, at McBeth, West Virginia.
She married Robert 'Bob' Harper and for over 40 years they built and
enjoyed their lives together. The couple lived in Hershey where Pat
worked outside the home and in the community but through the years she preferred her role in the home. She enjoyed spending her time
traveling, gardening and hosting football parties with Bob. Pat
welcomed company with a friendly smile and always had a cup of coffee
and an open chair at her kitchen island ready for a stop from a
visitor. She had a listening ear, strong shoulder and wise words of
wisdom to share.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; five brothers;
and her son, Perry Collman.
Survivors include her husband, Bob Harper, of Hershey; as well as other
family, her friends, and friends who became her family.
In keeping with Pat's wishes, cremation was chosen. Services will be
held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, 2022, at the Hershey Methodist
Church. Inurnment will follow in Riverside Cemetery. Online
