Edward Dean "Eddie" Morrison (1978-2021)

Edward "Eddie" Dean Morrison, age 43 of Hot Springs, South Dakota, passed away Saturday, April 17, 2021 in Hot Springs.

Eddie was born July 12, 1978, at Rapid City,  South Dakota to Cindy and Edward Dean Morrison, Sr. He graduated from Ogallala High School.

Following high school, Eddie split time between Ogallala, Nebraska and South Dakota, working in handyman services and on irrigation pivots and fencing.

Eddie had a great appreciation for the outdoors and animals, he loved going horse back riding in nature and appreciating all of God's beauty. He was tender hearted and gentle souled. He was a great uncle to all of his nieces and nephews, he loved each and every one of them. He had a special place in his heart for family and animals, and enjoyed helping his mother on the ranch and was a hard worker. He had a wide range in tastes of music and enjoyed reading and learning about the Bible.

Eddie was preceded in death by his grandparents; Dorothy Welsh, Jim Welsh, & Rhoda Morrison.

Survivors include his two children, Tameron Thomas, and Edward; mother, Cindy Torres of Ogallala, Nebraska; father, Edward Morrison Sr.; step mother, Linda Conroy; siblings, Deb, Jody, Anna, Rose, Estell, Tina, Michelle, Miranda, Rolene, Edie, John Bob; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.

A memorial has been established in Eddie's memory for later designation. Condolences may be shared at prairiehillsfuneralhome.com.

Services were held on Thursday, April 22, 2021, at 1:00 pm (MT) at Prairie Hills Funeral Home in Ogallala, Nebraska with Father Bryan Ernest officiating.
