One of North Platte's most popular restaurants at any time of day will close its doors today.
Whiskey Creek, 311 Halligan Drive, will close on Wednesday as the owner, Jim Gardner, searches for a new location.
Gardner says the restaurant has been in negotiations with the landlord, but they refuse to make improvements and want to raise the lease by around $30,000.
The future of the restaurant in North Platte is uncertain, but Gardner says he has had several offers from people offering to build a new location.
Whiskey Creek has operated in North Platte for nearly 20 years.
