It was a great season for the NPHS Bulldog softball program.

They were bumped up to Class A and proved they could hold their own.

They got off to a rocky start but righted the ship soon thereafter, ending the season on a 14 game winning streak and coming just DECIMAL points from hosting one of seven Class A district tournaments.

They came runner up in their respective district and again just decimal points away from making the state tournament.

The good news keeps rolling in for the Bulldog softball team.

Just recently they learned that power hitting Junior shortstop Abby Orr has verbally committed to the D1 University of Tennessee Chattanooga

Sophomore Sidney Barner set two school records over the year as well. Sydney Barner set school record for hits in a season at 61 while also setting the school record for doubles in a season at 17.

The team loses just 3 players, Starting catcher Cassidy Ratliff, Designated hitter Maddy Carr and outfielder Josie Preece.

Class A, your officially on notice, next year the Bulldogs are coming for you.

Its a good time to be a Bulldog.
