LINCOLN, Neb. (Aug. 18, 2025) — Eagle Media earned two Silver Pinnacle Awards at the 2025 Nebraska Broadcasters Association convention, recognizing excellence in local radio broadcasting.


Dave Collins, longtime sports director for Eagle Media in Chadron and Play By Play man at Chadron State College, received the Silver Pinnacle Award for Best Sports Play-By-Play. Collins’ broadcasts of Chadron State athletics air exclusively on Eagle’s Double Q Country stations, KAAQ-FM and KQSK-FM, serving the Nebraska Panhandle.
North Platte broadcaster Derek Beck also received a Silver Pinnacle Award, winning in the Best Local Radio Show category for his morning program on Q Country Classic 107.3 FM.

The Pinnacle Awards are presented annually by the Nebraska Broadcasters Association to honor outstanding work in radio and television across the state.
