Visit North Platte

North Platte, Neb. - Visit North Platte has eleven part time staff and volunteers. These are the friendly faces that greet visitors when they stop into the North Platte Visitors Center. These Fun Advisors provide visitors with different things to do and see while in our community. To ensure that the staff and volunteers of Visit North Platte have the most up-to-date information about what North Platte and Lincoln County offers, Visit North Platte has scheduled an Attraction Tour for Tuesday, May 21st.

Jim Griffin, the curator of the Lincoln County Historical Museum, will help to guide the tour. Jim is  incredibly knowledgeable about local history and our community and will be able to share lesser-known  facts and answer questions along the way. These individuals will be visiting, driving by, and/or learning  about the 20th Century Veterans Memorial, Axes & Aces, Buffalo Bill State Historical Park, the Canteen  District, Cody Go-Karts, Cody Park Railroad Museum, Dusty Trails, Feather River Vineyard, Fort Cody  Trading Post, Fort McPherson National Cemetery, the Golden Spike Tower, Grain Bin Antique Town, the Lincoln County Historical Museum, the Old Depot Vineyard & Winery, Peg Leg Brewing Company, and the  Prairie Arts Center.

Visit North Platte would like to thank Axes & Aces, Buffalo Bill State Historical Park, Dusty Trails, the Golden Spike Tower, and the Lincoln County Historical Museum for letting these volunteers visit their attractions free of charge and for donating their time to make this a fun, educational, and memorable experience!
