NORTH PLATTE, Neb.-It's no secret that the Hot Sheets are one of the most popular features on The Post, but a local business wants to make sure you don't make an appearance on them.
Janssen Auto Group of McCook, North Platte, Holdrege and Larned, Kansas will again be offering free "safe rides" home on New Year's Eve.
"This is our 10th year of offering this service and we are pleased to be able to offer it again this year," said Dave Janssen of Janssen Auto Group.
"While we don't want to encourage anyone to overindulge this New Year's Eve, we do want to make sure that everyone makes it home safely," Janssen added.
Janssen will be operating its shuttle service within a five-mile radius of McCook, North Platte, Holdrege, Kearney and Larned, Kansas. The shuttles will run from 8:00 pm to 1:30 am on New Year's Eve.
