A Hershey woman will spend time in federal prison after she was sentenced on methamphetamine charges.
United States Attorney Joe Kelly announced that Jennifer Davis, 33, of Hershey, Nebraska, was sentenced today to 37 months’ imprisonment by United States District Judge Brian C. Buescher for possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine. There is no parole in the federal system. She will being a three-year term of supervised release following her release from prison.
On September 21, 2018, law enforcement conducted a search of the defendant’s residence in Hershey pursuant to a Drug Court Agreement. Officers of the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office recovered 56 grams of methamphetamine secreted in a Clorox wipes container hidden in a closet. Officers also located in the residence numerous plastic baggies used to distribute methamphetamine.
This case was investigated by the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office and the Nebraska State Patrol.
