Governor names 3 students to Nebraska college system board

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - Gov. Pete Ricketts has appointed three students to serve as nonvoting members of the Nebraska State College System board of trustees.

Konery Klueber, a senior working on a degree in justice studies, will represent Chadron State College over the 2020-2021 school year, the governor's office said. Klueber's parents live in Rapid City, South Dakota.

Tyler Harms, a junior majoring in marketing and business management, will represent Peru State College. His parents live in Falls City.

Amanda Jaixen, a junior majoring in family and consumer science education, will represent Wayne State College. Her parents live in Platte Center.

The 2019-20 student trustees are Sam Klammer, Chadron State; Camarie Stratman, Peru State; and Ashley VanMeeteren, Wayne State.
