
NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (NPPD)-On January 6, 2020, at 01:22 a.m., an officer observed a vehicle run a red light at the intersection of South Jeffers and Platte Oasis Parkway. The officer initiated a traffic stop but the suspect vehicle fled and a pursuit was initiated. The pursuit traveled into town with speeds up to 70 mph. The vehicle entered the 2300 Block of East Philip where the officer lost sight of it. The vehicle was later located but was unoccupied. It was determined that 21-year-old Isaiah Hausman, was the driver of the vehicle that fled. Officers were unable to locate Hausman.
On February 17, 2020, at 4:21 p.m., an officer was dispatched to the intersection of West 1st and Sherman, for a two-vehicle non-injury accident. Upon arrival, it was learned that one of the drivers, 21-year-old Isaiah Hausman, had fled the area on foot. Officers spoke with witnesses at the scene of the accident who identified Hausman as the driver. The witnesses stated that Hausman left the area on foot after learning the police had been contacted about the accident.
On February 29, 2020, at 1:02 a.m., Officers responded to the 400 Block of North Dewey, for a report of a disturbance in the parking lot. Upon arrival, officers spoke with witnesses who stated that two males were involved in a physical altercation in the parking lot. Witnesses stated that 21-year-old Isaiah J Hausman then began punching another male with a pair of brass knuckles. Witnesses stated that the victim was hit multiple times in the face with the brass knuckles, causing injuries that required medical attention. Witnesses stated that Hausman then fled the scene prior to officers arriving. The victim was treated by EMS on the scene but was later transported to the ER by private vehicle. While officers were still investigating in the area, Hausman was spotted by an officer and was told to stop. Hausman did not comply and ran from the officer. Later in the night, officers were given information that Hausman was at a residence located in the 900 Block of West 6th Street. Officers responded to this location and when attempting to contact him, Hausman climbed out of a second-story window and jumped onto the roof of a carport. Officers gave commands for Hausman to come down but he did not comply. Hausman then jumped off the carport, and over a large wooden privacy fence into a neighboring yard. Hausman then fled the scene on foot. Hausman was again seen by officers running to the North towards Union Pacific property. Hausman was seen jumping onto a moving train and then jumping off the train into the rail yard. Hausman was not located at that time.
Hausman is wanted on numerous charges including Operating a Motor Vehicle to Avoid Arrest, Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident, 2nd Degree Assault, Use of a Deadly Weapon to Commit a Felony, Possession of a Deadly Weapon by a Prohibited Person, and Resisting Arrest.
