NPPS Parents of 6th-12th graders,
In response to Covid-19, we will be transitioning to remote learning for the remainder of the school year. The district will checkout Chromebooks for families of 6th -12th-grade students who do not have a home computer to use. If you require a computer for your 6th - 12th grader, we will need a parent or guardian to fill out a form online. The parent or guardian picking up the computer must be the person filling out the online form. You can access this form by visiting the district's remote learning resources page at:
www.nppsd.orgTo access remote learning resources, you will need to connect to WiFi Internet. Consider if you don't currently have WiFi in your home whether can you access at the home of a relative or family friend. As of right now, both Spectrum and Allo Communications have both offered free installation and 60 days free internet to assist K12 families. If they don't have service in your area there are other local internet service providers to consider. If you don't have internet service and would like it, it is the responsibility of the parent or guardian to make arrangements with an internet service provider.
Once device pickup dates and times are established, communication will be sent to all families with further instructions for pickup. If you are unable to fill out the form online, please contact your school building by phone or email. Please do not go to the school building without prior arrangement as we are trying to follow CDC guidelines for social distancing. Please be patient and wait for further instructions from your building administration concerning remote learning assignments.
Thank you and have a good evening.
