Myrna Twombly, 80, of Holdrege, died at Kearney Regional Hospital on Tuesday, March 31, 2020.
Myrna was born to Robert and Arlis Roberts in Norton County, Kansas, on August 24, 1939. Myrna grew up in Norton County and Alma, NE, then got married after she was done with school. She later became a certified nurse’s aid and worked for Christian Homes and Memorial Homes, both in Holdrege. Myrna enjoyed spending her free time doing embroidery and solving crossword puzzles.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Twombly; father, Robert Roberts, Sr.; mother and stepfather, Arlis and Glenard Conant; and brother, Loren Roberts.
Myrna is survived by her daughter, Sherry, and three stepsons; sister, Joyce (Marion) Walkington, of Holdrege; brother, Robert, Jr. (Diane) Roberts, of Oregon; sister-in-law, Jan Roberts, of North Platte; three grandchildren; and other family.
