It's been a frustrating season this year for Head Coach Jeff Thurman as he tries to navigate a talented Knights Women's team back to the National Tournament for the 2nd year in a row. Frustrating because of the underlying problems that come with playing sports during a pandemic.
The Knights women were hit with another cancellation as the calendar year turned over to 2022:
This is the 2nd cancellation this year for the Knights women. The other game against York J/V was able to be made up.
The Knights Women are currently 10-4 on the year and have some statement wins on the season including beating #10 ranked Kansas City Community College before the holiday break. All season the Knights have been receiving votes to be nationally ranked but have yet to crack the list.
