News Release

As the North Platte Public Library remains closed until further notice and free online digital books are abundant, Library staff are still at work inside the library.

On Tuesday, April 7, 2020, the Creation Station inside the library began printing face shield parts for Great Plains Health workers.

Mayor Livingston inquired about the 3D printing services at the library after a meeting last week, and today, the library received hospital specifications to begin production.

"We are happy to be a part of the fight against the coronavirusā€, said Cecelia Lawrence, Library Director.
