NP/Lincoln County Visitor's Bureau hosts 'Be a Tourist In Your Own Backyard' selfie contest

NORTH PLATTE, Neb.-It’s spring and the perfect time to be a tourist in your own backyard! Get out and explore Lincoln County and win prizes!

The North Platte / Lincoln County Visitors Bureau is hosting a selfie contest to encourage everyone to explore Lincoln County. While most attractions are closed right now, it is the perfect time to enjoy a drive around town and across the county to explore – and make plans to visit once again when everything reopens.

Playing is easy: Take a road trip through North Platte and Lincoln County to find at least 10 of our attractions. Find the sign at each location (HINT: there may be more than one at each location) and snap a selfie. Post all 10 photos on your timeline using the location hashtag #visitnorthplatte or post on the Facebook event page. Winners will be announced each week during the month of May and will win a total of $100 in Gift Cards to local restaurants and attractions. (If you do not win, your entry will roll over into the next week. Enter each week if you’d like. You could win up to 3 times!).
