NPSP brings on new Athletic Director

With longtime AD Mark Skillstad stepping down from his position, North Platte St. Pats High School was in need of a new Athletic Director. They didn't need to look very far to find their person. 

Brendan Lynes was announced as the new AD on April 30th. Lynes is a NPSP graduate and familiar with the program having been under Skillstad for so many years. 

The press release from the school is below: 
North Platte Catholic Schools has hired Brendan Lynes as the new athletic director for St. Pat’s High School.Current AD, Mark Skillstad, will be retiring after 40 years with the NPCS system.Mr. Lynes is a 2010 graduate of St. Pat's. He currently teaches Physical Education for McDaid Elementary (K-6) and will remain in that role. He is the head coach of our St. Pat’s boys golf team, served as assistant coach on the boys basketball team and was an assistant coach for the football team.Superintendent, Kevin Dodson, shared, “ Mr. Lynes is a respected member of our faculty and brings with him a strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining a strong activities program. He is a great leader of our students and will represent our school very well."
