Lily D. Olson, age 92, of North Platte, died May 10, 2020 at Centennial Park Retirement Village.
She was born on July 11, 1927 in Ogallala Nebraska to John and Anna (Jasnoch) Nowak. She was born and raised in Keith County. On April 22, 1952, she married Lorain R. “Ole” Olson. The couple came to North Platte in 1960 and have resided here since. She worked at the North Platte Country Club for many years. Lily will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and as being a very hard worker. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.
Survivors include her children, Raymond (Marie) Olson of Franktown, Co, James (Cindy Cynova) Olson of Broomfield, CO, Laura (Daryle) Ordway, and Mary (Ron) Reynolds, all of North Platte; 15 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 2 sons, Steven, and John Olson and 6 brothers and 1 sister.

Services will be held 11:00am, Thursday, May 14, at Adams and Swanson Funeral Chapel with Rev Josh Brown officiating. Private family burial will be held at Fort McPherson, near Maxwell, NE.Visitation will noon to 8:00pm, Wednesday, May 13, at Adams and Swanson Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
