Prairie Arts Center to reopen June 2

NORTH PLATTE, Neb.-The Prairie Arts Center will reopen doors June 2nd.  Hours to the public will be 11-2 pm during the first week in June.  Hours will be adjusted throughout the month.  

Gallery:   Through the month of June you can explore the art therapy process through drug court and how art supports their healing process.  This process allows those in recovery to use their creativity and imagination to create paintings, drawings, sculptures, videos, poetry and music.  Everything in "The Art of Recovery" Exhibit allows artists to express themselves in a healthy and productive way. 

Art Therapy helps people cope with medical challenges, stress and anxiety, as well as expand their forms of communication and express thoughts and feelings that they may not be able to say with words.  

Classes:  Classes will be rescheduled as we re-open our doors and we will contact registrants to notify them of rescheduled class times and dates.  Online art kits and delivery will be available through May.

Flipping Out - PAC's Flea Market Flip will take place on July 18th, 11-3 pm in Pac's parking lot.  Teams can sign up now online at prairieartscenter.org    Team fees are $35 and they can enter up to 3 items.  Pieces will be sold via silent and live auction on July 18th.  Proceeds will be split between PAC and teams non-profit of choice.
