Delores "Dee" A. Herold, of North Platte died May 17, 2020 at Lincoln, NE.
She was born on to July 20, 1939, in North Platte, to Clifford and Alberta McCarty, and graduated from Greybull High School in Wyoming.
Delores was united in Marriage to Wayne F. Herold on November 5, 1966.
She loved spending time with her family, playing cards, playing Trivial Pursuit, crafting and watching her brothers at the raceway.
She is survived by her husband, Wayne F. Herold of North Platte; one son, Wayne F. Herold II (Jessica) of Tyler, MN; three daughters, Heather (Rich) Isabell of North Platte, Lee Ann (Seth) Parker of Evanston, WY and Lori Grenier of Lovell, WY; four siblings Kenneth McCarty of Rogers, AR, Debra (Jim) Wiezorek of North Platte, Terry (Diana) McCarty of North Platte and Denniece McCarty of Versailles, MO; 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren,
Delores was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Alberta McCarty; her son, David Grenier; and brother, Clifford (Gene) McCarty.
Funeral services will be 10:30 AM Friday, May 22, 2020 at Carpenter Memorial Chapel with The Reverend Joshua Brown officiating. Book signing with viewing will be Thursday, May 21 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with the family receiving friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Rosary is scheduled at 7:00 PM following the visitation. Burial will be at Fort McPherson National Cemetery.
