
Kenneth A. Bourque, 54 of North Platte, NE, passed away May 16, 2020 at his home. He was born October 9, 1965 to Adrian Bourque and Kathleen (VanAckeren) Lute in Omaha, NE.
Kenneth graduate from Central High School in Cape Girardeau, Missouri in 1984, and then attended the University of Missouri and Creighton University. He worked with special needs children in Missouri and Omaha and lived in Eugene, Oregon. Kenneth then moved to North Platte where he worked for Reliable Trucking.
Kenneth loved music, especially Jazz, was an avid reader, and loved to travel.
Survivors include his father, Dr. Adrian (Mary) Bourque of Wausau, WI; mother, Kathleen Lute of Ogallala; two siblings, Rick (Kathy) Bourque of Ogallala, and Michelle (Kevan) Geiger of Brule; uncles, Jerry (Diane) VanAckeren of Bradenton, FL and Ronald Bourque of Brooklyn, NY; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Kenneth was preceded in death by grandparents, Joseph and Anna Bourque, Eleanor (Steffes) VanAckeren, Edwin and Ruth VanAckeren; aunts, Mary Ann (Larry) Hess, Louise Bourque, Jean Bourque; Uncle Joseph (Barbara) Bourque; and stepfather, Robert F. Lute II.

Cremation was chosen and services will be held at a later date. Adams & Swanson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
