Jimmie Dale McCubbin, 68 years of age, of Stamford, Nebraska passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2020, at his home in Stamford. Jimmie was born March 7, 1952, in Pawhuska, Oklahoma to Paul Sherman McCubbin and Ida Faye Cross.
Jimmie had two children: Jimmy Lee and Jackie Larrysa. He was employed as a truck driver for over 36 years. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing.
He was preceded in death by his parents; step mother; two brothers; and a sister.
Survivors include: his children: Jimmy McCubbin; and Jackie Larrysa Erwin and her husband, Mark, all of Odessa, Texas; three grandchildren; his siblings; numerous nieces and nephews; and close friends who he viewed and loved as his family.
There will be no visitation, as the family is honoring Jimmie’s wish for cremation.
Private Memorial Services for Jimmie D. McCubbin will be held at a later date.
A memorial has been established in Jimmie’s honor, and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
