NORTH PLATTE, Neb.-It's never good timing to lose power, but it's especially troublesome during the first real heatwave of the year.

We've had numerous people ask about power being out mainly in the area of West Philip Avenue, and here's what we found out.

Municipal Light and Water says a tree branch took out a power line on Saturday about 7:15 pm.

Crews are working to restore power. They estimate it will be approximately an hour, give or take.
